As an emerging leader in the health care industry, Sound Inpatient Physicians wanted a brandmark that would reflect their philosophies and internal processes. Through a collaborative effort, our design team was able to distill these feelings down into a logo that was clean, inviting and represented the heart of their company.

Affiliated with the Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington, the Human Services Policy Center wanted an identity that solidified their commitment to policy improvements for children and families. With great attention and appreciation to their political and delicate subject matter, we created a logo that proved to be an inviting, balanced and solid identity for the organization.

After contracting Artifex to re-design their corporate website, and through the preliminary design process, Apollo discovered that this change ran much deeper than just a new website... they needed a new identity. Madera - Office Furniture Manufacturer
In the midst of a major photo shoot for the Quantum Systems company brochure, they suddenly merged with Sheppard Office Systems and Madera was born. The Madera identity became the main focus of their efforts and they immediately put us to the task of creating a new corporate logo. It was our resiliency and adaptive nature that not only allowed us to create an outstanding logo, we also finished the brochure that reflected their new identity and delivered it within the same timelines set before the merger.

South Tacoma Auto - Automotive Dealership
Starting in 1992 with one location and then constructing a second facility in 2004, South Tacoma Auto realized that the next logical step was to create a new identity. South Tacoma Auto approached us with their goals and desires in mind and we delivered a logo identity that mirrored those thoughts and conveyed a sense of longevity, honesty and pride.

Storm - Bowling Products Manufacturer
In January of 2000, Storm Products came to us with a request to spice up their logo for the new Millennium. Artifex created a logo that works in conjunction with the original logo and is now globally recognized throughout the bowling industry. Our team has also designed logos for Storm's subsidiary companies, and helped Storm to become a symbol of bowling equipment quality and innovation.

Toyota of Puyallup - Automotive Dealership
Perhaps you have seen this logo on the back of a brand new Toyota. As one of the largest sellers of new and used vehicles in the Puyallup area and with the construction of a new facility, Toyota of Puyallup came to Artifex for the design of their company logo. Their goal was to maintain recognition of the Toyota brand while strategically creating their own identity, and to then become synonymous with Puyallup and Toyota vehicles.

Specifically looking for an identity that displayed a sense of style, credibility and masculinity, Wicklund Specialties turned to us for designing their new corporate logo. Face It - Climbing Products Manufacturer
As a manufacturer of composite polyester holds for indoor climbing gyms, Face It wanted to have an identity that reflected their commitment to quality craftsmanship and homage to the emerging hip sport. The Rack - Bowling Ball Product Series
In 1996, Storm Products started out with only one product... a bowling ball cleaner. In 2003, they approached Artifex with the desire to develop and reinvigorate an identity for an entire new line of bowling ball maintenance products. We created a striking (no pun) and bold identity that was to be the umbrella for each individual product to fall under.

RealityCharting™ Software Logo Design (opens in a new window)
RealityCharting™ - Root Cause Analysis Software
Artifex was contracted by Apollonian Publications to design and develop its new software application, RealityCharting™. As the product began to unfold, Apollonian turned to our design team to develop the product identity. The RealityCharting™ logo clearly defined the software's methodology and therefore drove the software interface and CD-ROM packaging design. The product is now sold on a worldwide basis to clients such as Alcoa, Dow Chemical, and Cargill.

Monsoon - Bowling Ball Coverstock Material
The X Factor series of bowling balls grossed the second highest sales record in the history of Storm Products. So when it came time to release the Fear Factor™, the fourth ball in that series, they created the most aggressive reactive coverstock material in the industry. The Monsoon™ coverstock was conceived and we were appointed the challenge of creating an logo that would live up to the hype and give something for their customers to identify with.

Dynorooz - Bowling Shoes
As a leading bowling ball company, Dyno-thane decided to expand their horizons and produce a new line of bowling shoes. Artifex was appointed the task, and created a logo that personified the new line, while focusing on the Kangaroo leather used in the construction of the shoes.

TOTE - 30 Year Anniversary
Totem Ocean Trailer Express is a staple at the Port of Tacoma and has been serving Alaska since 1975. When it came time to celebrate their 30 years of success and longevity in 2005, they turned to Artifex to produce an icon that would mark this historic event. We not only delivered a logo that captured the very essence of this achievement, it also serves as a reminder of the commitment to their community, customers and employees.
